Welcome to the Freshers Week section of the Cartmel College’s website, this area is given over to giving prospective Cartmel students and insight and hopefully a reassuring guide to what to do in the first week of university.

Even if you are the quietest person in the world, or the biggest party animal, lived in Lancaster all your life, or never stepped foot in the UK before, Cartmel College can give you an excellent Freshers Week what ever your tastes!

I’m Danny, and I’m Cartmel College Vice President and it’s my job to plan for your arrival and make sure that you settle into your new environment as quickly as possible whilst having the best time of your life. All those scare stories you heard, all the incidents that you may have heard of and any horror stories you may have encoutered just ignore them and have a look at the Fresher Stories page, also the Top tips page, which will give you tips on everything from what you need to bring, to what to do and what Freshers week is like for everyone!
