40th Anniversary at Cartmel College

Cartmel College : “1968 - 2008″

Cartmel College will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2008. We have arranged a weekend of events for staff, students and would love the Alumni to join us in the celebrations.

We kick off with a Jazz evening on Friday 18th July at 7.30pm. The Sue Parish Quartet will provide the music and a light supper will be included during the evening.

On Saturday 19th, we have arranged a pub lunch at the White Bull, followed by a trip on the canal, which includes transport to and from Bilsborrow. We have also arranged a guided walk around Campus in the morning and the City Centre in the afternoon.

Saturday evening sees us holding an event in the food court with “Bands from the Decades” in which we have a number of tribute bands along with a special hot and cold buffet. As many Old Cartmellians and colleagues as we can find, are being contacted as I write so we hope to have an occasion to fittingly mark such a milestone.

To finish our weekend we will hold a Sunday Brunch in the food court to say goodbye to our Alumni and Guests.
