Dominoes

Hi guys, this is James Whittaker, the captain of the Dominos team along

with my vice captain Dan Williams! Dominos is a fun couple of hours to

pass the time by on a Monday night that runs along side the Mens Darts

league. The game is easy to pick up and both Men and Women can play.

Getting involved is simple and easy, all it requires is that you be

available on a Monday night (sticking around to support or even getting

involved with the Darts team is also a bonus!).

We entered last year as defending champions (bringing the first piece of

silverware to the Cartmel trophy cabinet!) but we were unfortunately unable

to build on that and finished dead last. This year we will be hoping to

recover from the disappointing performances and aim to mount a title

challenge to reclaim the trophy aiding Cartmel’s cause as a whole in the

George Wyatt trophy!

Look out for us in Freshers Week where we will be holding a taster session

along side the Mens Darts with a more specific date coming in the next few

weeks. We hope to see you around and are looking forward to potentially

playing Dominos with you.
